Gall & Gall was working on the next major step in their logistics operation. Where phase one optimized the flow from distribution center to store, phase two focused on the final stretch: from distribution center to customer.
A new system was prepared for implementation within the distribution center. Expectations were high. So were the risks.

The Challenge
Implementing IT within a distribution environment is always complex. You want orders to keep flowing, turning off the “revenue tap” is not an option. At the same time, phase two of the migration had to be completed.
The real challenge? Rolling out a complex IT implementation as efficiently as possible, without disruptions or complications. And preferably, as fast as possible.
The Solution
The go-live began on September 15. The webshop was closed for one day. The next day, the system went live in a limited window, up until 6:00 PM.
Each day, availability was gradually increased. This allowed for a controlled and phased rollout. No chaos. No stress.
Operations never had to be interrupted. An outcome the client hadn’t expected. But for us, simply the result of solid project execution.

We built a realistic timeline. Improved stakeholder communication. And created the calm and control needed to deliver true quality.
