Technology that works for people

Over 30 years ago, my professional journey began at Etos. I held several roles in logistics and played a key role in the implementation of a new logistics system. That was my first encounter with complex data structures, business processes and the impact of technology on the workplace. What I learned back then, and what has remained my guiding principle, is that technology is only truly successful when the people using it embrace it.

Over the years, I’ve specialized in functional management and later in Business Information Management. At Etos, I helped establish an entirely new functional management department. I followed a similar path at Translink Systems, where I restructured processes using frameworks like BISL and ASL, while always staying closely involved with day-to-day operations. As an Enterprise Business Consultant at Avanade, I contributed to large-scale optimizations, such as at Schiphol Telematics, as team lead for AX, SharePoint & BI management, I combined process improvement with operational involvement. My focus has always been to help organizations become better, more efficient, and more people-oriented.

During my early years at Etos, I not only discovered my passion for IT but also met Edwin. We’ve been together for over 30 years and spend our free time renovating our farmhouse in Hem.

Expertise

With a strong background in functional management, process optimization, and frameworks such as BISL and ASL, I specialize in creating practical solutions that genuinely work for people. After stepping away from the field for a period due to health challenges, I now use that experience in my role as a strategic partner at Trelion, contributing to the selection and development of our internal processes and systems.
